DAO Governance Tools

On-chain proposal and voting systems for decentralized organizations.

Doesn't connect to Decentralized.Host

No connection. A cluster has an operator; hosts keep a veto over their own machines through local policy. There is no DAO and none is planned.

How on-chain governance typically works

A DAO (Decentralized Autonomous Organization) replaces a traditional company's board decisions with token-weighted or membership-weighted on-chain voting: someone submits a proposal (often after an off-chain discussion phase on a forum), token holders vote within a window, and if it passes, execution can be automatic (a smart contract carries out the approved action directly, common for treasury spending) or manual (a multisig of elected signers carries it out, common when the action is too complex to safely automate). Tools like Snapshot (off-chain, gasless voting signaling) and on-chain governance modules (Compound Governor, Aragon) are the common infrastructure.
