Dedicated Server Tools
Managing bare-metal servers you fully own or lease exclusively.
Same relationship as with a VPS: run dh-noded on a dedicated server and it becomes a host that admits work under its own policy. Decentralized.Host does not manage the machine or its OS.
Dedicated vs. virtual
A dedicated server gives you the entire physical machine -- every CPU core, all the RAM, no noisy-neighbor contention from other tenants -- either bought outright (colocation: you own the hardware, a datacenter provides power/cooling/network) or leased exclusively from a provider (Hetzner's and OVH's dedicated lines are common examples). This trades away a VPS's flexibility (resize in minutes, snapshot, migrate) for consistent, undiluted performance and, often, a meaningfully lower cost per core than an equivalent slice of a hyperscaler VM.
