DNS Management Tools
Creating and maintaining the DNS records that point domain names at real infrastructure.
Indirectly. Ingress names (for example web.example.net) must point at your edge hosts in ordinary DNS, and ACME DNS-01 validation needs DNS records. Decentralized.Host does not manage DNS zones for you.
What DNS management actually involves day to day
Beyond the basics (A records pointing a name at an IP, CNAME records aliasing one name to another), real DNS management means keeping records correct as infrastructure changes: updating a record when a server's IP changes, adding CAA records to restrict which certificate authorities may issue certs for your domain, setting sensible TTLs (short while you're actively changing something, long once stable, to reduce query load), and verifying propagation -- a change isn't live everywhere the instant you save it, since resolvers along the path cache answers for up to the record's TTL.
