Transaction Simulator Tools
Dry-running a transaction to predict its effects before submitting it.
No transaction simulation exists. The closest feature is `dh explain app`, which shows the scheduler's plan before anything is signed.
Why simulation matters
Submitting a transaction that reverts still costs real gas on most chains, and a complex DeFi transaction's actual effects (exact token amounts received after slippage, whether an approval is missing) aren't always obvious from the raw call alone. Simulators (Tenderly is a well-known example) execute a transaction against current chain state without actually broadcasting it, showing the exact state changes, gas cost, and any revert reason in advance -- letting a user or dApp catch a failing transaction before paying to submit it.
